The Securities Commission of The Bahamas joins IOSCO and securities regulators around the world in celebrating World Investor Week 2020.

This fourth edition of the global celebration comes at an unprecedented time for most of us – amidst a global pandemic.  Mindful of this, the Securities Commission of The Bahamas is focusing its efforts on helping you to watch out for proliferating frauds and scams, exploring new opportunities that sound regulation of the digital assets space will create, and providing information to support personal and community financial resilience.

The Commission will utilise social media  posts with messaging supporting smart investing and financial resilience, launching new investor education content, and hosting two feature webinars during the week.

Information about the Commission’s activities is provided below.  For more information about World Investor Week, check out www.worldinvestorweek.org.
